To celebrate the 50th anniversary from our foundation in 1968 by the jurists Giovanni Conso, Giuliano Vassalli and Mario Lana, the UFTDU organised the conference “Disuguaglianze e diritti umani” at the auditorium of the Court of Cassation.
For the event notable personalities were present, them being Giovanni Mammone, First President of the Court of Cassation, Francesco Caia, President of the Human Rights Commission of the National Bar Association (CNF), Anton Giulio Lana, President of the Unione Forense per la Tutela dei Diritti Umani, Alfonso Celotto, Professor of Constitutional law at the University of Roma Tre, Filippo Donati, Professor of Constitutional law at the University of Florence, Chiara Favilli, Professor of European law at the University of Florence, Fausto Pocar, Professor emeritus of International law at the University of Milan, Lucia Tria, Councillor of the Court of Cassation, Claudio Zanghì, Professor emeritus of International law at the Sapienza University of Rome.
Throughout the event, Vito Mazzarelli, Vice President of the UFTDU, Matteo Carbonelli, Vice President of the UFTDU, Maurizio de Stefano, member of the Steering Committee of the UFTDU and Bertrand Favreau, President of l’Institut des droits de l’homme des avocats européens (IDHAE), intervened with their testimonies.
At the end of the event a certificate of participation was given, which offers 3 training credits recognised by the National Bar Association.
