The\nUnione Forense per la Tutela dei Diritti Umani organised the 21st edition<\/strong>\nof the specialisation course \u201cTutela europea dei diritti umani\u201d. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course functions as a consolidation and update for\nlegal practitioners and scholars. Amongst the various instruments for the\nprotection of human rights there are the European Convention on Human Rights\n(ECHR) and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. The former\nincreasingly gained importance as its principles are enforced and safeguarded by\nthe European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is dedicated to the study of the Court\u2019s\nfunctioning. In particular, the audience will gain extensive technical knowledge\nabout its system, proceedings and its impact in Italy. The relationship between\nthe Strasbourg Court and the Luxembourg Court will also be assessed following\nthe implementation of the Treaty of Lisbon, which made the Charter of\nFundamental Rights legally binding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course received the Patronage<\/strong> of the Council of Europe and the National Bar Association (CNF), as well as the accreditation of n. 18 training credits<\/strong> from the CNF for lawyers\u2019 professional training classes<\/strong>. Participants will also receive a certificate of participation<\/strong> at the end of the course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course consists in six sessions<\/strong>, each being\nthree hours long, and taking place on following Fridays: 13th November, 20\nth November, 27th November, 4th december, 11th december and 18th december 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lessons will be held from 15h00 to 18h00 in streaming<\/strong>, through the GoToWebinar platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
